My Leader-Post Interview

On Oct 18th I sat down with Mark Melnychuk of The Leader-Post to discuss the state of women in tech in Saskatchewan.  Over a coffee at the French Press I talked about my personal experiences in this still-male-dominated industry, as well as my thoughts and opinions of the industry as a whole.  A few days later I popped in to The Leader-Post office to have my picture snapped, and the results can be found on the front page of the business section!

One of the services Good’s company (BLG Business Solutions) offers is software testing, which involves trying to find bugs within apps, iPhone games and other programs.

Good had no previous experience in the field. In fact, her educational background is a degree in psychology. She began learning on the job when her previous employer was implementing a new software system and needed people to test it.
