Our topic today came from a couple of webinars I’ve done this year about automating your business, the most recent of which will have already aired by the time this podcast episode is going public. Most people understand the concept of automating when they are thinking of a single application. For example, someone fills out a form and they get back an email with a free download automatically. But when it comes to connecting multiple services, sometimes people struggle with the concept or to understand the possibilities - you don’t know what you don’t know, right? So I want to take a bit of a deep dive into these services to help you wrap your brain around them.
Now, my recommendation is always to get tools that have the automations you need built in as opposed to using automation services to make things work. But sometimes that’s just not possible. Sometimes the tool you absolutely need just doesn’t do this one thing. Sometimes the tool that has all of the automations you need is out of your budget right now, but these other two tools together are affordable - you just need to make them communicate with each other. Sometimes you just love those two other tools and want to keep using them.
